The Sam Houston Area Council, the Houston-area chapter of Boy Scouts of America, is organizing local food drives to help collect food and hygiene products for our friends and neighbors in the Houston-Galveston area who have been affected by the devastation of Hurricane Ike.
As part of this effort, Katy Cub Scout Pack 548 will host a drive-thru food and supplies collection effort this Saturday (September 20) from 10 am to 4 pm at La Centerra (Cinco Ranch Blvd. @ Grand Parkway, across from Cinco Ranch High School). Donations and volunteers appreciated!

Bottled Water • Non-perishable Food Items • Canned Goods (especially fruit!)
Dry Cereal • Rice (long cooking varieties) • Paper Goods • Trash Bags
Baby Items – Diapers, Wipes, Formula (Similac Blue Can) • Personal Care Items
